A truly innovative manufacturing company, offering high quality engineered components to OEM’s for critical applications in industries such as Aerospace, Marine, Energy, Oil and Gas, Petrochemical, and wider engineering and industrial sectors

Due to this continuing growth, they are looking to strengthen their team and bring onboard a Business Development Manager / Technical Sales professional to generate sales across the North America.


Job Description:

Salary Circa $60,000 – $90,000 (Depending on Experience + Bonus & Benefits

Location Tags: USA, Texas (Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth, El Paso, Arlington, Corpus Christi)

Your primary responsibilities are to utilise your skills in technical solution sales and business development, to convert sales opportunities. Proactively generating new business and building profitable business relationships with new and existing customers.

Furthermore, you will responsible for sales throughout the US and overseas where you will be encouraged to build a strong portfolio of customers to meet agreed targets. Aligning with the business objectives in the North American region.

Requirements:

  • Previously holding a career in the foundry/metals/engineering/metallurgical industry, with several years experience in a technical related sales position. Ideally within the foundry/castings sector, or a closely aligned market such as forgings or sub-contract manufacturing/machining
  • Technically strong with the ability to understand drawings, castings specifications, tolerances and technical requirements

  • You will be a strong communicator and solid negotiator, who has the the ability to consult with customers technically. Clearly advising them on bespoke solutions, which meet their needs for casting and foundry products.

  • Ideally you will hold an academic qualification related to mechanical engineering, or will be able to demonstrate the equivalent knowledge and skills gained from your experience in the foundry industry.

  • Ideally you will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in technical solution sales to leading OEM’s in Aerospace, Marine, Energy, Oil and Gas,  Hydraulics, Defence, Construction, Petrochemical or wider engineerig and industrial focused sectors.
